Kessler-Haak is a family-owned and family-farmed 30-acre vineyard along Highway 246 in the cool northwestern corner of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, about 11 miles west of Buellton. Morning fog and Pacific breezes shape the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown here, and the vineyard is farmed without herbicides or pesticides. The winery takes a minimal-intervention approach in the cellar. Visitors can book a seated outdoor tasting overlooking the vines, relax with wine by the glass on the grounds, or reserve a private vineyard tour, and it also lists a Lompoc tasting room at 300 N 12th St. Kessler-Haak holds a 4.8-star Google rating.
