The Lompoc Recreation Division plans and runs the city's parks, sports leagues, aquatic programs, senior activities, and community special events. Its programs are based primarily at the Anderson Recreation Center (125 W. Walnut Ave.), which houses a gymnasium, basketball and volleyball courts, a commercial kitchen, and meeting/training rooms, and includes the Ensenada Pool aquatic facility. Registration for classes and leagues can be done in person at the Anderson Recreation Center during business hours, online, or by phone. The division's stated mission is to improve quality of life in Lompoc through recreation and leisure services for residents of all ages.
