Santa Rita Hills Lavender Farm grows more than 3,000 lavender plants, plus seasonal specialty cut flowers and produce, on Tularosa Road in the hills east of Lompoc. The mother-and-son farm was established in May 2020, farms with regenerative practices and is a Certified Wildlife Sanctuary. In season the flower fields and farmstand open to visitors, with guided farm tours starting in June and general admission through Labor Day weekend; the farm also hosts an annual Lavender Festival in July and offers lavender wreathmaking and distillation classes by booking. Its small-batch products, from aromatherapy and bath goods to culinary lavender, are distilled and handcrafted from the farm's own fields. After Labor Day it runs an off-season schedule, so call or text before visiting.
