About this place

Eye on I is a wood-fired pizza shop, kitchen, and community event space at 131 N I Street. Established in 2020 by partners Heather Hovey and Jeff Olsson, the shop opened its doors on March 1, 2021 and has been serving globally influenced pies, sandwiches, and salads ever since — with music gigs, art exhibitions, markets, and workshops in tow. After Jeff Olsson's passing in 2023, Heather Hovey — with the help of her family and the Lompoc community — reopened the doors in January 2024 and continues the Eye on I vision as sole owner. The kitchen puts real weight on its supplier relationships, leaning local, sustainable, and organic. Open Tuesday-Saturday 12-8pm, with take-out only on Mondays 12-5pm.
