Historic Chinese restaurant famous for giant egg rolls, chow mein, wonton soup, and generous family-sized portions.
Rice Bowl is a family-owned Chinese-American restaurant that has anchored downtown Lompoc since the 1940s. The Wong family renamed it the Rice Bowl in 1947 and built the current 117 W Ocean Ave building in the early 1950s, making it one of the city's oldest continuously operating restaurants. It is best known for its giant, Cantonese-style egg rolls, served alongside chow mein, fried rice, wonton soup and generous family-sized portions.
