Big Jayke's is the Asian-fusion kitchen of Lompoc native Jacob Gordon, who launched the business in 2018 by posting yakisoba noodles on Instagram while working at Mi Amore Pizza and Pasta. What began as "Big Jayke's Late Night Munchies" — over 100 people served in two hours on the first night — grew into a food trailer with help from Mi Amore's owners, and Gordon's story has inspired other Lompoc food-truck entrepreneurs. The menu centers on noodles — plain, carne asada, surf 'n turf, and the most-popular orange chicken yakisoba — plus rice bowls like Spam 'n egg, teriyaki chicken, and spicy salmon edamame on Cal Rose rice. The munchie menu adds nuoc cham and lemon-pepper chicken wings, Philly cheesesteak fries, and surf 'n turf fries topped with carne asada and jumbo shrimp.
