Jalama Beach County Park
One of the most remote and beautiful beaches on the Central Coast, Jalama Beach sits at the end of a winding 15-mile road. Known for crashing waves, tide pools, incredible sunsets, and the famous Jalama Burger from the camp store.
Lompoc Valley Flower Fields
Lompoc is the flower seed capital of the world. Every spring, thousands of acres burst into vivid stripes of color — larkspur, sweet william, and statice stretching to the horizon. Drive the Flower Route map or stop at a field to take photos.
Harris Grade Road Scenic Drive
A stunning 10-mile back-road drive connecting Lompoc to Hwy 101 through rolling hills and oak woodland. During wildflower season the hillsides are covered in poppies and lupine. Watch for hawks and the occasional deer crossing.
River Park & Santa Ynez River Trail
The Santa Ynez River runs just north of town, offering miles of easy walking and biking trails through riparian habitat. Watch for hawks, herons, and deer along the riverbank. Perfect for families and leashed dogs.
