Mariscos El Palmar has served Lompoc from its E Ocean Avenue storefront since 2003 — the sign over the door reads "Estd. 2003," and the window bills it as the "House of the Homemade Tortilla." The menu spans mariscos (seafood) and Mexican classics: oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocteles, mojarra frita (whole fried tilapia), chile colorado, fajitas, and street tacos.
