Falcon 9 Lit Up Lompoc at 2:35 A.M. — 27 More Starlink Satellites Up

SpaceX launched Starlink Group 15-22 from Vandenberg before dawn Wednesday and landed the booster. Next window: September 1.
If you were up at 2:35 this morning and felt the windows hum, that was the neighborhood export leaving on schedule. SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, carrying the Starlink Group 15-22 batch — 27 more broadband satellites bound for low-Earth orbit.
The booster, tail number B1082, was flying for the 24th time; it landed on the drone ship offshore a few minutes after liftoff, and the satellites were placed into their target orbit. A textbook predawn launch from Space Launch Complex 4 East — the kind Lompoc gets a front-row seat to more than any town in America.
