Lompoc Valley Medical Center hosts first 'Shift Change' car show this fall

Lompoc Valley Medical Center is launching its inaugural car show in October, welcoming classic cars, hot rods, motorcycles and more. The free community event will feature food, music, and vendor displays.
Lompoc Valley Medical Center is revving up for something new this fall: the inaugural Shift Change at Ocean & 7th car show. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the hospital's location on East Ocean Avenue, with vehicle arrivals beginning at 9 a.m.
Car owners can register their vehicles for $30 through Oct. 1. All types of vehicles are welcome—classic cars, custom builds, hot rods, trucks, motorcycles, and more. Admission for spectators is free and open to the public, so families and friends are invited to browse the displays and enjoy the day at no cost.
Community Support and Entertainment
The show will feature DJ entertainment, food trucks with meals and refreshments for purchase, and a chance to celebrate the automotive passion throughout the Lompoc Valley. Proceeds from vehicle registrations benefit the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation, which supports health care programs and initiatives in the valley.
Local businesses interested in sponsoring the event can get involved at various sponsorship levels, with benefits including event signage, promotional recognition, and social media acknowledgment. For registration, sponsorship details, or questions, contact Kristina Grasser, LVMC's volunteer and marketing coordinator, at grasserk@lompocvmc.com.
