Simply named and simply good, Bakery on West Ocean Avenue is a husband-and-wife shop that has quietly become a Lompoc morning ritual. The counter carries fresh donuts and pastries alongside cakes and cupcakes for birthdays and celebrations, and the sandwich board gives the lunch crowd a reason to come back after the donuts sell down. Regulars mention the same two things again and again: everything is fresh, and the owners greet you like a neighbor.
