Beginner Plein Air Painting Workshop

Discover the joy of painting outdoors in this beginner-friendly plein air acrylic painting class. Join us on Sunday, August 9, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. at Centennial Park to learn the fundamentals of painting from life in a beautiful outdoor setting. In this class, students will learn how to: Create balanced compositions Understand basic value and color theory Complete a small acrylic painting on location Students should arrive at the Cypress Gallery at 12:45 p.m. to meet the instructor and set up their easels under the gazebo at Centennial Park. Class Details Date: Sunday, August 9 Time: 1:00–4:00 p.m. Location: Centennial Park Meeting Place: Cypress Gallery at 12:45 p.m. Class Size: 5–10 students Minimum Age: 16 Course Fee: $75 Students should bring their own acrylic painting supplies. Painting supplies and an easel may be borrowed for an additional $15 per person.
