The Lompoc Unified School District (LUSD) serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade across Lompoc and the surrounding area. For families relocating to Lompoc, understanding the district structure and available programs helps ensure a smooth transition for children.

LUSD operates multiple elementary schools, two middle schools (Clarence Ruth and Vandenberg Middle), and two high schools (Lompoc High School and Cabrillo High School, which serves continuation students). The district serves approximately 9,000 students.
Lompoc High School
