REACH Launches $525K Space Vandenberg Innovation Fund for Aerospace Startups
A new grant program will award up to $100,000 to aerospace innovators and companies on the Central Coast. Applications are due in October.
REACH, a regional economic development coalition, has opened applications for the Space Vandenberg Innovation Fund, a new grant program offering $525,000 to support aerospace and related technologies on the Central Coast.
The fund will provide multiple awards in three tiers: up to $7,500, up to $50,000, and up to $100,000. Eligible applicants include student teams, researchers, university-affiliated startups, entrepreneurs, technology commercialization projects, and established companies.
Application Deadlines and Process
Prospective applicants must submit a Letter of Intent through an online form by 5 p.m. on Oct. 2. Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. on Oct. 16. Award recipients are expected to be announced in December 2026.
